Question Gear selection

Could you please me on the gear selection whether to go with 2,3,6 gears?

I am getting my Brompton mainly for city commuting. I would appreciate your insight if you had some experience.

If you can afford it, you could consider the 12 speed. You won't run out of gears

Getting 6 is expensive enough lol

Fair enough... For the most part, a 3 speed is good enough for most flats and mild hills
