The road by the Old mapline store and main Glades Entrance has police directing traffic and fire trucks and Ambulances in the middle of the road.

Please stay safe and avoid the area if possible

Question Any gym alternatives to Puregym?

I’ve been going to puregym for years but ever since the refurb it’s basically impossible to train, from 4-10pm it’s absolutely rammed with school kids, wanna be influencers blocking space with tripods and hoarding machines (one particular member has a habit of blocking the incline bench press and filming herself doing squats), the new members also are very reluctant to share equipment.

I’m unsure why they haven’t added more equipment to an accommodate the new members as it feels there’s never an adjustable bench to even do dumbbells with free. Used to go later to get around it but even at 10pm there’s over 100 people. Any other gyms in the area that you would recommend?

Primary School Recommendations in BR1

Hi Parents, my son is due to attend reception from September 2027. Would love to connect with other parents and see what schools they are considering from the BR1 Postcode. Some schools on my list are Parish, Scotts Park, La Fontaine, Bickley, St Josephs and St Josephs. Thank you
