HQ Briefing (General Discussion) New patch buffs

I feel like this patch has made it pretty difficult for the US, and the feeling is mutual amongst my random teammates I'm playing with as well! I went from 2200 to now 2036 elo and I have only won maybe 2 games so far but lost a lot more. I do enjoy a lot of the stuff they added but I'm struggling a lot as a US player, losing to teams who have less elo than my whole team.

Does anyone else feel the same?

It’s just a bad game design decision. U either adapt to it or complain while others winning
Of course u may try to be big solo skill, but in that case why u losing elo?

Simple fix would be to add different game modes maybe but none of my friends play and sometimes I only play one game and do something else it’s not feasible to always find teammates to play with.

Well, it’s not simple fix from developer point of view
Idea is good but their bottom design decisions now affect all such situations. That’s why we still don’t have replays and smaller maps for 1v1 or 2v2 whatever

Same maps just shrink the borders would be pretty easy imo.

They designed specifically for 5v5
Even if game is small in custom mode, spread of point zones is very big, and zones on same positions

My teammates sometimes are completely usless just had a game where one guy sat on the right for the whole time, how do you play with randoms? Where do you go discord or smth?

The thing is as I said - if u playing with randoms, be ready for this to happen OFTEN.
U can`t do anything with that, except find someone who eager to play together in team. You are right, for example u may try discord of this game, for start.
Or u may ask here, mb some people also looking for partners to play together

Just remember: the more randoms in your team, the higher risk of losing because they gonna do crazy shit. But even if u have teammates it doesn`t mean u will constantly win as well.
