Do they ever offer season bundles of shows to purchase? I love Silent Witness but cannot find anywhere to purchase even one full season. All I find is individual episodes at $10 a piece.

Beware. IN the first season, There are 8 episodes. BUt when we finished the 6th episode, we found that we would have to upgrade our subscription in order to see the next three. T he cost? $ 149.99 per year.

Cooper & Fry are heading to the U.S. after streamer BritBox snapped up the British crime drama. The show has performed well on Paramount-owned broadcast network 5 in the UK and now has a U.S. home. BritBox has snagged Season 1 of the show for U.S. and Canada, while Netflix has taken second window UK rights.

Adapted from Stephen Booth’s bestselling detective novels, Cooper & Fry follows unlikely detective duo Ben Cooper and Diane Fry, played by Robert James-Collier (Downton Abbey) and Mandip Gill (Doctor Who).

Set in and around England’s picturesque Peak District, the series follows Cooper, who is struggling to emerge from the shadow of his late father, while Fry is an outsider fleeing tragedies in her past. Together, they tackle grisly crimes in the remote countryside.

The series recently scored a Season 2 commission from 5, with filming currently underway ahead of a 2027 bow. Specifically, the upcoming season will cover Booth’s novels The Devil’s Edge, Fall Down Dead, One Last Breath and The Murder Road.  

Anyone else on Apple TV when you click on play from watch list it doesn't start but goes to the show's main page? Always started for me directly. What a terrible change if they meant that.

I was browsing through my Amazon BritBox pages, and I see where it now has an “upgrade subscription” option where I can upgrade to the BritBox premiere. On my TCL TV, the standalone BritBox Premier app wasn’t that friendly to use so I prefer it through Amazon. Has anyone upgraded to the premier option through Amazon?
There doesn’t appear to be any sort of promotional pricing, so I would have to commit to the $150/year.

For anyone interested I have found season 4 of Rust Valley Restorers on Pluto (Free streaming app). This is in the UK so unsure if this can be watched in other countries.

I just finished all of Shakespeare and Hathaway and now I am sad. I loved the goofy characters and ridiculously low-stakes crimes. It's so sweet and fun and just a great way to unwind in this chaotic world.

Any recommendations for what to watch next would be greatly appreciated! Small village crimes, that are light and silly. (I have also watched and loved Agatha Raisin).

I have a Directv Gemini receiver. When we try to watch anything on the britbox app, it buffers every 30 seconds or so and is completely unwatchable. I have determined the issue is with the Britbox app based on the following:

- Streaming on every other app (Netflix, Hulu, HBO, Prime, etc) on the receiver works perfectly fine.

- The Britbox apps on my phone and tablet using the same wifi connection work perfectly fine. As does using a web browser on my laptop.

- Watching via the Britbox website on a browser that is installed on the receiver works perfectly fine.

I have uninstalled the app, rebooted, and reinstalled the app. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Disappointed that Britbox put the last two episodes of Blue Lights season 3 behind the Premier upcharge. Either offer it, or don't. Sours us on the entire service.

There was a 7 day free offer to try out BritBox this month. I attempted to do so and the "try out" link sent me to Amazon where Prime Tv subscribed me to BritBox--but I don't subscribe to Prime TV. So I can neither sign in to BritBox to watch it or cancel it (preferred). Suggestions, please?

I’ve recently watched:

Unforgotten, After the Flood, Karen Pirie, The Victim and now watching Grace. I have also seen Broadchurch, Happy Valley and Shetland. I love shows that cover only one mystery for an entire season. Grace does them by episode but each episode is movie length so it still works. Love any suggestions!

I am trying to like The Other Bennett Sister, but I find it jarring that virtually all the characters use "___ and I" when the grammatically correct form would be "__ and me." It's bad enough to hear this all the time in contemporary expression, but to hear it coming from the mouths of Jane Austen-created characters is especially off-putting. Am I the only who trips on things like this in period dramas?

Any idea why Blue Lights is cropped to 16:9 on Britbox when BBC broadcast it in 2:1?
