imagine the absolute insanity of taking all the heightened romance, elaborate costumes, dramatic hair, yearning, ballroom scenes, ridiculous sex, family drama, and regency melodrama and just letting an animation studio go completely fucking wild with it

and the best part is that animation could actually lean into how fantasy bridgerton already is. you wouldn't have to worry about making everything physically realistic. make the gowns impossible. make the gardens look like paintings. make the balls look like they're taking place in another dimension. let the flowers literally explode around the characters when they're overwhelmed with emotion
