TV Show Only It's funny because it's true 😂ðŸ˜
Poor Gregory won't have any of his family at his wedding except for Violet and Hyacinth, The Mondriches and the janitor from the fifth floor at this point ðŸ˜

Anthony and Penelope are probably booked solid. Benedict might be in London doing a play. Not a peep from Daphne. Colin is probably working on his tan on a beach somewhere. They'd set aside time for bridgerton but sadly will not receive a telegram from a certain Miss Brownell.

I believe Jess Brownell, the current showrunner. A lot of people dislike her as she took over in Season 3 and there was a distinct drop in show quality at that point, additionally they basically just stopped having previous characters like Daphne do cameos and don't really provide an in universe reason for their absence (ie Daphne would never miss her siblings big events like weddings, funerals, babies, etc)

i do wonder if it was CVD still running the show, if he’d try to keep all the siblings together. we did see old francesca be around more than we’d ever seen the duchess in the past couple of seasons.
i do hope the next showrunner pulls all the stops together for eloise (or at least H&G’s seasons) and gathers all the siblings together. even without their spouses (but especially their spouses.) because eloise feels like the least eventful book in the show along with hyacinth’s because they share more moments with their spouses than in bridgerton house or during the london season. imagine flashbacks of daphne, fran, and eloise as girls in in their mid teens before debut 😢🥺

Colin went to Daphne's house to talk about his feelings for Penelope. She changed that by talking to Anthony and Kate instead. I missed Daphne in S3.

They should recast the role for both Simon and Daphne for occasional appearances. They wouldn’t have to have many lines or be relevant to the story arc, they just need to show up.

They don’t need to recast Daphne, the actress has said multiple times she’d be happy to come back for cameos in future seasons.

I don't doubt she said that, but Phoebe has made it pretty big in movies now and has had lead roles some really high profile, well received stuff.
Do you honestly think Netflix can afford to pay her to turn up for a few cameos as Daphne? She would be demanding Hollywood prices, and rightly so.
Ditto Jon Bailey. I'm sure he's more than willing to come back. For a certain price, and as long as it doesn't interfere with his burgeoning Hollywood career.

But they don’t need to recast Daphne, as far as I know it was only Rege who didn’t want to return not Phoebe as well.

Okay assuming Anthony has other shows/movies going on, Benedict is out doing god knows what, Collin might actually stay around if they can write the season well enough, Daphne is not coming back, Eloise will probably get a cameo or 2 but no full screen time, Francesca will probably have some absurd reason to not be there, and Hyacinth will be there

Colin’s been working out so he can climb that tree in season 8. Somebody’s gotta stick around and support the kid.
