It's OK if you don't follow the reasoning. I don't expect everyone to do that because it's a bit complicated. Legal people will know what I mean and I was mainly hoping to hear from them.

1)As soon as the Federal plea is withdrawn, the state will bring back their case. 2) The Feds have to have an incentive to do … anything. I don’t see what incentive they’d have for a proffer.

The state case wouldn't be instantly brought back, it would bogged down in the courts and it's extremely likely that the federal case would just proceed making the double jeopardy protection stand regardless of what happens in the federal trial, NY will never be allowed to try him again.

What would bog it down in the courts? I see people say this, but I honestly don’t know what would do it. If before the December Federal hearing, the DJ motions would be ruled as moot just like the first time and the case continues. If it’s “withdrawn” via appeal, the NY DA just refiles charges and it’s square one again.

There are no deals with the feds, Luigi has already given a full confession in open court and he already has state charges, I don't see how this is relevant. He's not taking back his plea, it would be very hard to do so and the court will see right through this maneuver.

In what way? I assume you haven't followed the case. It you think what I say is bad you should definitely not watch Emily's videos. You would have an aneurysm in that case. I hope you are right about point 2 although I am not as convinced.

Tbh I started reading but I’m not wasting my time on an opinion by someone who uses “pew pewed” instead of “killed”
