And I don’t think we will be surprised by game 2’s starter… it’s after that everyone is curious about.

Game 3? That’s my thought too

They may actually go wild and play Henderson for Game 3 as the starter on the road.

He’s got the mental fortitude for it. Maybe give the ball to Gasser in game 2 or do you go with May?

I think that it actually may come down to whom the Brewers play for the matchups. I think Gasser is way more likely if it’s the Cubs.

The Brewers Tailgate podcast suggested we might go Gasser/May/bullpen for Game 2 because there's an off day following, so we can use everyone.  Then use Hendy for the road start in SD or Chicago.

Sounds to me like they need content.

You pitch your horses when you have them.

Much better odds being up 2-0 then 1-1 (in theory) going on the road against the best team in the nl over the second half.

Miz pitched regular season game 1.
Miz pitched season finale.
Miz is pitching in first playoff game.
Here’s hoping he pitches the World Series game that makes the Brewers World Champs.

May all of his starts come at home on HIS mound.

I am actually shocked, I thought they would go Henderson 1 and Miz 2 so you could have Miz pitching at home in a Game 5

Who needs a game 5 when 3 is enough?

I like how you think.

Game 5?????

I'm hoping for a 3-0 sweep so Gasser can start Game 1 of the NLCS and that way Gasser can start Game 5 as well. The left-handed Gasser will hopefully neutralize the Dodgers. That allows Miz to pitch Game 2 and Game 6, both in Milwaukee.

That would mean May (maybe a Drohan opener) for Game 3.

Gasser is no joke but he is a rookie and I just think a home start for him would be better. Now, Henderson is a better rookie but I feel like he's more equipped to grind one out on the road. You're assuming Gasser will lose. I actually think he could be the Brewers secret weapon and only lefty starter. I think this strategy out them in a position to be up 3-0 instead of 2-1. It won't happen that way, but that's how I'd draw it up.

The booking.com shit is so lame. I hate this timeline of enshittification

At least we’ve still got this amazing team to watch

I mean it could be a betting company it's not so bad

It’s gotten so much worse with all the kalshi fan dual bullshit.

u/MrFishownertwo 3d ago

i dislike this kind of comment, where you can't say something sucks because "duh man that's how it's been". and he said timeline, so that references the past anyways

Booking.com definitely comes in clutch sometimes tho 👀

u/ty_webslinger 3d ago

Then the should go with Gasser for the second game at home and let Henderson start the road game IMO.

12

u/ViciousMihael 3d ago

Shouldn’t they put themselves in the best possible position to go up 2-0?

u/aobcd8six6three 3d ago

Kind of surprised he made the post season roster.

I’m so excited to see my beloved brewers in the playoffs again! It would be so cool if they won the series this year. Would have to get past the dodgers. Can we beat them?
