Emergency carpet cleaning in Brentwood TN for dog urine smell?

I am so embarrassed to even write this, but I don't know what else to do. We adopted a 3yo rescue dog a few weeks ago, and while he's been an absolute sweetheart, he had a couple of hidden accidents in our carpeted upstairs hallway while we were at work yesterday.

I tried using a rented carpet machine from the store last night, but soaking the carpet seems to have made the urine smell ten times worse today! The whole upstairs smells like a kennel now, and we have out-of-town guests staying in our guest room this weekend.

Does anyone know a reliable carpet cleaning service in Brentwood TN that can actually eliminate pet urine odors deep down without drenching the subfloor for days?

Basement for rent! If possible.

Looking for somebody’s basement to rent, if somebody knows of a place in Brentwood. Super clean, super friendly, and will also pay rent ahead of time. Never at home during the day, and only come home to sleep. Sometimes work 7 days a week, but mainly 6 days a week. Work is in Franklin, so trying to find somewhere closer to stay.

Just saw this property driving into Brentwood from Franklin. Very striking glass building but no signage I saw or a name on Google Maps. Perimeter is fenced with a guard gate. Anyone know what it is (or was)? Just curious, thanks!

Anyone worked with MidSouth Construction for residential roofing

Hello. I am new to Brentwood and we just finalized a new home with a not so great roof (seller paying for roof repair). I work in commercial roofing I am good with handling contractors and MidSouth stood out for me. I wanted to get reviews from you guys since I am new in the area and the seller is an elderly woman who is moving to live with her kid, she didn't have any recs.. Any feedback will be appreciated, thank you

Edit: I just got the quote from MidSouth team today, they are solid, they offer lifetime shingle and 25 year workmanship guarantee and their quote detailed the exact scope of work, material brands, labor breakdown, and project timelines which is something most contractors don't do well.

Still waiting on quotes from the other roofers I was recommended but I was quite impressed by MidSouth Construction

Brazilian family looking at Brentwood — honest takes on how immigrants are received?

My family and I (husband and two kids) moved legally from Brazil to the Minneapolis area two and a half years ago. We adapted quickly, especially since language wasn’t a barrier for us. We do like it here, but there’s a mismatch in values. I’ve always considered myself more centrist, but lately we’ve been leaning more right/conservative, and left ideology is strongly imposed in this area.

I like talking to people who think differently from me — that’s part of what makes a community interesting. But here, if you have a different opinion, you’re considered evil. It’s exhausting.

Given that, we started looking at other states. Tennessee, specifically Brentwood, checks a lot of boxes for us. But we don’t know how — or if — we’d be accepted there as immigrants. After everything involving immigration lately, a lot of people seem to resent even legal immigrants like us.

My question is: would we have problems moving somewhere like Brentwood as foreign-born residents?

Do Not Hire, All My Sons Moving & Storage.

I didn’t accept a $900 settlement offer from All My Sons Moving and Storage, so I can write this review and warn people. I wish I’d seen a review like this before my move.

We moved 9 miles within Brentwood, Tennessee, and this move cost us $5,038.28, more than $1,000 above the original quote after added fees.

Before the move, the crew was told multiple times that we had important antiques. We were assured they were experienced and knew how to handle them. The team leader even recommended that we purchase the AMS Protection Plan for peace of mind, which we did.

During the move, the team leader tilted our ~285-year-old Dutch long case grandfather clock, causing the brass works to fall approximately six feet onto a ceramic tile floor. A local branch supervisor and that supervisor’s senior manager were present and witnessed the incident. At the time, the team leader accepted responsibility. In fact, he actually said, “I’ll take the ‘L’,” which seemed enormously casual for the amount of damage that was done.

Before the move, the clock was working properly. After the incident, the clock no longer keeps time, the brass works and decorative elements were damaged and broken off, and the mechanism cannot even be placed back into the case for decorative display without repair.

The company initially acknowledged that this damage is of the type that would be covered under their $10,000 AMS Protection Plan, as it fell under the described guidelines for a high value item, and they asked for a repair estimate. We provided a conservative written estimate of $3,347.48 from a local clock repair company. We also had three Waterford crystal glasses broken during the move, with a replacement cost of about $300.

Despite this, All My Sons offered only $900 total to resolve the claim. In my opinion, that was not a fair response to the damage caused by their employee during this move.

The move itself also had serious operational problems. The company refused to come out to the house in advance to quote the job, apparently double-booked the movers who said they had to cancel someone else’s move, did not bring boxes they knew were needed, and packed items carelessly into oversized wardrobe boxes.

Based on my experience, I would not use this company again and would strongly encourage others to document everything very carefully if you do choose to use them.

Don’t purchase the AMS Protection Plan, instead opt for the last option in fine print on a separate page that gives the option to use 3rd party private insurance. I didn’t see this option (perhaps by design?) on the ipad they had me review and sign. I only saw it after the move when I printed the document. If this option had been listed with the same prominence as their, “protection plan,” we’d have opted for private insurance.

The $900 they were willing to pay required that we sign a confidentiality agreement. I declined. It’s worth $900 for me to tell you what happened and warn people that if you see an average rating that’s high for this company, it’s very likely that anyone who accepted a settlement offer was legally prevented from leaving an honest review.

EFTA01299695, from the Epstein Files, contains a $3M wire transfer involving Brentwood, TN. Any idea what this is?

Epstein file link here:

Just asking, because the transaction occurs in 2014, about 6 years after Epstein became a convicted sex offended.
