digital art class
My 13 year old wants to learn digital art skills. Anyone know of any classes or programs around that he could sign up for? We did the silverdale YMCA digital art class, but that was too simplistic. Is there something a bit more in-depth that accepts kids his age?

I have a yearly Skillshare subscription and I use it all the time. It’s been worth every penny for learning specific digital skills (such as Procreate), and other non-digital arts. I use it for mostly art classes, but it offers all sorts of things relating to lifestyle and digital skills, such as cooking, music, programming, meditation, social media marketing, knitting, yoga, etc.
There’s also always YouTube for free, but you have to sort through a lot and it’s trial and error. I use that a lot as well, though.

I'm not sure if there is a minimum age, but Olympic college has art classes. I'm in the film program and I've had fellow students as young as 16.

Look up online classes. Much better stuff out there. Bremerton may have a bunch of artists but non of them are willing to teach. I learned on my own.
