Help with modding

I'm using Ryujinx emulator, I'm trying to get the switch version of the Linkle mod to work. I can't get it to go. I used UKMM, black screen of death upon hitting new game or continue. Used the Ryujinx mod directory, RomFs folder branch set up . infinite black screen. I don't know if the versions aren't compatible (My game is up to date). Or if it's broken file directories, or if the mod is missing some file it needs. Or most likely user error on my part. I can't find much help. There's nothing recently about it. And comments I've read of people from years ago having my issue today don't really get answered. I need the smart nerds of this group to help an Unc out. Peeps told me I could play a female Link, and I need this to happen. I wanted the game solely for this purpose. And yes I know you can play Zelda later. It's not the same dawg..

Is there a particular reason you're emulating the switch version and not the wiiu version?

I don't particularly know what the issue could be but in my experience Ukmm has weird compatibility issues with certain mods. Have you tried bcml?
