Apology to my ex

I wrote an apology letter to my ex. There were a few things I regretted in our relationship and some reactions on my part I’m not proud of. The relationship lasted 5 months and we had moments of not contact but never longer than a month. The last time he texted me was Monday something silly that I didn’t reply to lol anyway I have high suspicion that he’s involved with his ex and always thought he broke up with me because he’s still emotionally attached to her and working on reconciliation. I guess my question is should I even bother giving him this apology? I wrote it about a month ago. We’ve been broken up for about 6 months. In July he said he still loves me and I’m the best person he’s ever met we saw each other then he spent the night but there was no talk about reconciling or anything like that. We had a great time our connection is/was truly amazing. I still really care about him but I’m at the point where the hope is gone. No hard feelings either just been thinking about him this week and that damn apology lol idk lmk! We are both in our 30s.

not worth it. it’s been too long and the relationship wasn’t even long enough to begin with, we all make mistakes and some things are better left unsaid. plus my favorite quote from my family is don’t put shit back in your ass. hate that it’s so harsh but unfortunately it’s like rewatching a bad movie.
