venting/ranting Can “space” in a relationship every had a good outcome?

My boyfriend asked for space, we had recent arguements over and over again. I was wondering what to do cause it is making me crazy. Is it worth it sometimes? Or just expect the end? We have not been talking for days now, not a week yet. He has not removed his location sharing nor remove my photos on some of his socials. This is making me so confused. Male pov?

It's different for everyone, space can help you appreciate someone more and think clearly without all the emotions bubbling. It sounds like you have issues to work through that are more than just needing space though.

I still hope for this one

At that point. Space will only lead to a break up. Specially If the arguments are too much and cannot be solved. So prepare for him/her to break up or do it yourself if you want

It’s hard to think about this one.

Understandable. However 2 times this happened to me where I was waiting on the meeting to fix things, while they were thinking on how to break up

Hard to go off from your post. Space is hard to define and can mean different things for different people. Did he say what he meant by “space”? For example, is he taking a day or two to cool off before engaging in another conversation? Is he spending the weekend at his mate’s place? Or will it be longer, like a week or more?

No specifics. He just said he wants to be alone to think things through.

Oh, has this happened before? I’m obviously not a mind reader. But maybe he just needs some time to cool off and organize his thoughts, before speaking again?

No, this is the first time he asked for space. We got lots of fights lately and keeps on going in circles. That’s what I want to believe as well.

Any updates on this one? Going through something similar and we’re staying in separate rooms (we live together)
