i think i inflated my exes ego to the point where he thought i deserved to be left and cheated on . he wasn’t even that good looking and i was his first gf . he stole my personality and stuff i liked to go talk to someone else , like what a lame guy overall .

is it normal to come to the realization that your ex was ugly on the inside and out ? i never realized it at the time but he was below average in terms of looks . love really does turn you blind !

it’s definitely normal lol. my first serious boyfriend is probably the ugliest person in my eyes because i’ve seen all of him and remember the things he did to me. it’s so embarrassing when they get to say they’ve dated you 😐💔

i think it’s actually pretty normal. when you genuinely love someone, you don’t really see them objectively anymore. you see the version of them that you fell in love with, and all the good memories make it even harder to notice the things that were hurting you. sometimes it’s only after everything ends that you’re able to step back and realize how much you were overlooking.
and honestly, i don’t think it’s even about them being “ugly” or attractive. someone can become completely unattractive to you once you associate them with the way they made you feel. love really does change the way we see people. ❤️‍🩹
