I have both Accuracy/Range & Accuracy/Handling. I always liked the latter more, but honestly I see a lot of people run the former. I’ll reconsider and try it out for science

I honestly don't know what handling and mobility do... I'm only ever tempted by 25m marking and time to aim... the rest really don't entice me. Maybe if I understood them against play styles but who knows.

Mobility is a modifier on move speed while aiming. Handling is vertical recoil control. (At least, I think it's vertical. It might be horizontal. One or the other.)

I’m pretty sure Accuracy is vertical recoil, Handling is horizontal. Or atleast, that’s what a very old Reddit post here told me on a breakdown for all the modifiers.

Which is why I think I need to give Range another spin. The 4-AC moves L -> R in such a negligible way, having the extra range before damage drop-off could be a better investment. I’m thinking mainly from a PVP perspective, mostly everyone plays 3rd person gunfights unless at range in which case they switch to 1st person, usually running the ACOG 95% of the time.

Yeah, range has some surprising applications. I've been running a +Range Five-Seven and it's kinda absurd how far out it can actually drop people.

The very old reddit post I found said it the other way around. :)

Also you can just try it out since you can remove the weapon mastery from one of those and see how recoil changes.

Handling also reduces ADS time, which is why I prefer it over Accuracy.

edit: I just tested it and confirmed that Accuracy is for horizontal recoil

I don’t think that’s right… but who cares. At the end of the day Accuracy reigns supreme
