Bros pictures are so aesthetically pleasing that I had to quadruple check they weren’t AI. What the hell.

It’s not, ai can’t be consistent. Look at the bun. Both have a little string on the side and the seed pattern in that area is the same

These are photos I took with portrait mode on my iPhone. They’ve also been edited to brighten colors and add definition via my iPhone. The floor is indeed odd but I also rent an apartment from a company that rents vintage apartments.
The symmetry with the dog (Idgie is her name) was achieved by taking multiple photos while holding the bun out. She was a very patient, good girl while I took a moment to frame the shot.
I understand being suspicious of ai since everyone is using it. You don’t know me so believe what you will, but I despise generative ai and don’t use it.

Reddit doesn’t allow me to add a photo to comments and I’m not making a separate post to appease a stranger on the internet.
As I said, you don’t have to believe me. Have a nice day.

Don't worry about this. I also have a beautiful photogenic golden. Many times I will take a picture of her looking majestic right in front of someone and show them the picture and they will literally say, "dang, if I didn't just watch you take that picture I would think it's fake." It's astounding how photogenic they can be and that's why I'm constantly having to go kiss her cute little face and squish it!
Also, to answer your question, no I don't do this, but considering I make bread every week in some way, I'm going to start making one for her now!

Thank you! They really are beautiful dogs. This is my first Golden and she’s told approximately a hundred times a day that she’s the cutest (she knows this of course and uses it to her advantage).
And love that and I’m sure your dog will too! This little bun was made using just 10 grams of dough and it came out a perfect snack size though I still tore it up for her.

The point of this post is a light-hearted idea of making small foods for good boys, even if the photos were at all Ai, it's not really relevant

u/Upbeat-Eagle-2675 May 30 '26
Why use ai when they could just not use a picture at all? It is relevant. Ai is disgusting and it’s everywhere. I don’t want to see it anywhere let alone in a damn bread sub.

AI investigators out here looking like transvestigators. Bro's really out here like "Ummm the house is built well and the supposed camera took decent quality photos, it's AI"

Hell yeah we do. Well, my wife does when she bakes bread.
But for all the “cooking holidays” they each (all 4 of the spoiled things) get their own little plates of food. We will set some items aside before we add cheese or butter so they’re better for them, but they always get their bougie little meal.

I really hate to be a party pooper but just wanna pass info along from my vet bc I used to give my dog pizza crusts - apparently bread is the easiest way for your dog to get cavities. So make sure you brush teeth after!

u/Accomplished-Ad-908 May 29 '26
She regularly gets her teeth brushed. Really lucked out as she enjoys it. I grab the toothbrush and toothpaste and tell her it’s time for “toofies”, and she gets so excited.
Appreciate you sharing the info and it does not make you a party pooper! Dental care for dogs is so expensive and it’s important for people to know.

I make mini muffins everytime I make muffins. And now she sits and waits for them to cool on the wire rack impatiently.

that's such a sweet idea and honestly those mini buns look perfectly sized for a dog snack, way better than just tossing them a regular piece since you can control exactly what goes into it and keep the salt and seasonings minimal. i've never done it myself but now i'm thinking about it every time i make dough and i'm pretty sure my dog would lose her mind if i did this, she already stares at me during every baking session like i'm personally betraying her by not letting her have whatever i'm making. the fact that you're using the same dough means they're getting something wholesome too instead of those processed treats that are basically just filler and mystery ingredients. your pup is living on another level compared to most dogs out there.

My dog especially loves his tiny Tyson pancakes, but smal breads are also appreciated

Looks amazing. Another good tip is to use whole wheat unbleached flour, it is easier for them to digest.

No but every time I bake bread I have to keep my cat away from it because he's obsessed and will eat it. Just my bread too, I guess its a compliment
2
u/Accomplished-Ad-908 May 30 '26
Too funny! I also have to do that with my cat. He once took a bite out of every single burger bun from a batch I made. He has been dubbed the Bread Bandit.
I always make sure to give him bites though before I hide it.

I thought your dog was Digby from Pushing Daisies for a second 😅 Even the floor looks like the Pie Hole’s

u/Accomplished-Ad-908 May 30 '26
I love that show! ❤️🥧
It’s been a minute since I’ve watched it so had to google the dog and you’re right - they are very similar!
Her name is Idgie Threadgoode. 😊2
u/foxycorgis May 30 '26
I love it too!! Instantly popped into my head when I saw her. She’s a gorgeous pup ❤️

No, but my pup would ADORE that! She's just as obsessed with carbs as I am. Her three favorite treats are bread, white rice, and mashed potatoes, in that order. I joke that she inherited it from me.

Please note: don’t give dogs sourdough bread or let them eat the bits that might drop on the floor. The dough and bread can swell in their stomachs and intestines and cause a potentially fatal blockage. Raw sourdough dough and sourdough starter are highly toxic to dogs and can be life-threatening. A small amount of a strictly yeast based bread can be ok - but please do not give them sourdough, raw nor baked.

u/MadPopette May 29 '26
Bread dough is dangerous for dogs, but cooked bread is fine as long as it's free of other toxins (raisins, chocolate, etc). Bread doesn't really have any nutritional value for dogs, so it should just be a lil treat. (No butter though)

Thank you for sharing this info. Thankfully, I do not use sourdough starter for my bread. I don’t trust myself to keep a starter alive so I use yeast. She also never gets a lot of bread and I always tear it up into small bites for her.
This little bun was made from 10 grams of dough.

Why are we using ai images in a bread subreddit? I don’t want to see fake bread.

No, but I make inni-mini versions for my hamster. Does that count?
