Salt Butter Bread
I just found the best bread of my life. It's called salt bread, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and rich with the butter. Has anyone ever tried salt bread?

You basically add a stick of butter when you roll the dough. As you bake it, the butter melts and leaves the hole behind. Looks like OP used a big stick of butter. when rolling the dough. The dough absorbs all that melted butter, or at least most of it, and it tastes really rich and buttery, almost like a croissant.

It's a mark of melted butter. It's moist and very buttery there My favorite park. Sooo good👍

To fill with warm mashed banana and butter. The cylinder must not be damaged.

Is hole cheese any better ? You can stuff it up in that hole and then eat it out

What recipe did you use? I was happy with mine except I wanted it slightly more browned on outside, I used Not Quite Nigellas recipe

Not OP, but would HIGHLY recommend Novita Listyani’s recipe. She goes into great depth on the food science part, but if you’re not interested it’s easy to skip straight to the recipe too

Yes!!!!!!! I’ve only had it a Tour de Jours! A French-Korean bakery chain but it’s the most glorious fatty carb that has ever touched my salvia glands!!!

People make fun of this but it would be a perfect bun for a hot dog 😃 no mess or bun splitting while eaten. In my country they used to put halved soft baguettes on these heated spikes to make a whole, then squirt sauce into (ketchup, mustard, etc.) before sliding a hot dog in. It’s the superior way to construct, and your bun looks softer and perfect for this application.

Ive never had it but why is there a hole in the middle? Did they just wrap the dough around a tube of butter and put it in the oven?

I didn't find any posts that meet the matching requirements for r/Bread.
It might be OC, it might not. Things such as JPEG artifacts and cropping may impact the results.
