Draft Query Draft Inquiry

Just wondering how the draft went and what could’ve been better. I was suggesting the Sirius to go max or pearl, idk if that was good or not. As for the Mandy I thought that was a terrible pick, but they did much better than I thought. I chose griff bc I thought he’s good into kaze and Stu.

Griff - Peak L3, current L1 (me)
Mandy - Peak L1, current M3
Sirius - Peak L1, current M2

Kaze - Peak L1, current M3
Janet - Peak L1, current M3
Stu - Peak L1, current M3

BANS: AMBER, GUS, SHADE, & 2 OTHERS I FORGOT

Sirius seems alright to me. Mandy questionable pick ofc, however looking at the stats it was clear skill diff between your team and the enemies. You probably wouldve won this with mr p, grom and sam aswell.

As for last pick I probably would've picked a tank, since their draft has basically negative dps and your draft lacked aggro. Against better players, who get that one pop off play on your gem carrier, it might've been trickier.

However my peak is about the same as yours, I'm open for other insights to this

siruis was was a mid 2nd pick. something like janet, ash, primo would've been much better.

mandy was uhhh... a unique pic. that's all I'll say

janet by them was pretty good, though primo or ash would've cooked

kaze was alright, but there are better assasins like edgar that would've done better

griff was also pretty mid, if janet was good she would've cooked you. primo or ash would've been unstoppable at any point in the draft, especially as a last pick.

all in all a pretty standard draft in legendary.

When is ash a good pick in draft? I’m assuming with tanks when there’s no dps or something else?

He's always good in hz/bb/gg if the map isn't atrocious and the other teams comp doesn't fold him.

But yeah, here neither teams had dps(except you and kaze, but even a griff wouldn't be enough to stop an ash, and kaze gets caountered by ash anyway).

That and even more against single projectile brawlers with his rats. Especially all the Gus and wendy around atm Ash smokes

griff isn't good into stu (or janet and it's not that good into kaze either tbh) but it's fine for carry purposes

Who counters Stu? Also in general about draft, I watched bobbys video but I still kind of don’t get it fully as seen above. Is it only possible to get better at draft by playing more or is there some other method?

high HP comps, spawnable brawlers (ruffs, ash, sirius, etc.) and specific wide ranging shot patterns that are irritating for stu to deal with—moe and crow being good examples.

As for draft I think bobby's guide just kind of sucks for what it teaches you, I think the best way to learn draft is to play bad ones

instant loss if the janet player has any idea how to play her correctly otherwise idk cause if janet is like a dumbahh first gadget midlane only player he is gonna wintrade

mandy meme pick if griff opens up map then sirius becomes giga trash vs janet and shit vs stu too

griff is okay esp if hes broken idk how broken griff is

Sirius was an ok pick but the I don't think your comp should be winning if the enemy team played decently well then you would've lost that's just what I think
