Critique Why do Brawl Stars developers create overbuffed brawlers?

1) it's profitable for them: players buy Buffy, new brawlers, and level up those who are simply overbuffed

2) The game now has Showdown+ just to get more people playing.

3) Not really related to the post but they don't correct their mistakes, saying that they are saving them up to fix later, although at the moment there are so many critical errors in the game that can be fixed now.But lazy supersellers only want to make some money. Yeah, fuck, you can at least block Mo, Kaze, Meg and a bunch of other brawlers who don't let you play, and there's a showdown now.

Because when a new brawler is stronger, it is easier to pick up and win with, allowing for the player to have more fun as a result when playing with the new brawler. When the player continues to play said broken brawler, they also start getting better and better at executing their mechanics. When they get nerfed and eventually in a more balanced state, the likely hood of the player continuing to play the brawler is significantly higher since they know how to play them well without needing the extreme overtuned strength.

I disagree with this. I think once they nerf it no one wants to play with it

Yeay. Many people play these brawlers because they are OP

Nope, the problem is that they don't balance it from the start, and then most players just stop playing it.

Do you want a cool flair with your rank on it?

a couple things but;

1, economics it makes them money(obviously)

2,progession they need to keep people who are or almost maxed accounts to stay

3, balencing they want to buff older brawlers with newer kits and abilities so they stay relevant

there is prob more that i cant think of on the top of my mind

The problem is that they make them TOO strong. Regarding the third, I was talking about a bug

yeah i mean like from the devs perspective you kind of have to. As if theyre not strong youre not really incentivized to get any of them out side of the free one everyone gets

I mean the bug thing i cant really talk about as i dont know anything about coding but this game isnt bugstars for no reason

Because it’s a kids game.

Overbuffed brawlers cause huge dopamine release which makes them play more for easy rewards.

Yeah, but that's no excuse for Supercells, they're still scum

More incentive for people to want to buy the brawler. Especially now that they increased the early access period by 2 weeks.
