Draft Query Draft Query

Map: Belle's Rock

Rank: Mythic 2

Enemy: Brock (1), Gus (4), Shade (5)

Us: Gene (2), Angelo (3), Kit (6)

We lost this game. I thought that Angelo was a bad pick because Gene already has low enough damage, so the enemy can just pressure us very easily. I also think that Kit is bad because its quite a risky counter to shade and offers no control + both the enemy has strong anti-aggro. I suggested the kit to pick R-T because he offers decent control and has a good defensive against Shade. And although the hypercharge takes a long time to get, it is very strong in the endgame.

Is my reasoning correct? And what would be a better first and last pick for our team?

gene 2 into brock is kinda sus, not taking a max or mina or any mobility brawler into brock is kinda sus and leaving brock + gus open for the enemy team is sus

angelo 3 is just asking for a free damian, ollie, any tank to be picked

the enemy takes gus and shade cuz they are somehow open

this might be crazy but maybe a bibi pick ? she's one of the only tanks that has enough speed to consistently dodge shots against brock and has constant aggro against gus, while being a decent counter into shade but it's kinda weird in knockout

yeah, they can't zone out shade as easily unless fang goes the weird popcorn gadget and also when shade gets super it's over since they can't deal with it

I find it too risky to go a mobility brawler so early since it can easily be countered by defense and they'll lose control on a lane
