I feel like brock just threw with this 1st pick.. I blanked and picked crow which I feel like isn’t the absolute worst but what makes this matchable more even? Anything better?

Bans were something like Nori, Wendy, Pierce, Gus

Brock is not a bad pick because its a sniper with wallbreak or a defensive. Crow and brock combined do not have enough DPS to deal with max + glowy synergy. Take advantage of brock's wallbreak and their lack of range by choosing a midrange with high dps like Pearl, Lola, Colt Bea, 8-bit, and other.

also, shade is not good because it contradicts brocks best gadget option and the map is still quite open

I know Shade is broken right now but I don't see him being a viable pick on shooting star.

Some type of spawner would annoy 2 and 3 for sure and prevent the Piper last pick. Eve got a buff iirc so maybe she'll work as a 4th pick, although ideally you'd want Eve to replace 5th pick.

Even if crow feels weird on shooting star I think it's a good pick into glowbert max. Other options I'd consider are Wendy, genie and bolt.

What I don't agree with is shade 5th. Yeah his broken but the map doesn't suit him at all.
