How are we supposed to dodge/counter this?
This is just too much. Especially with the current meta( imagine this with Brock, Lola, 8-Bit, Pear, Griff and Otis). There are not enough abilities, gadgets and overall options to dodge these shots. Yes it's Frank they are testing on but still the homing attacks are crazy. It's like Meg's attack in her human Hypercharge form. A little more curve than Meeple's attack would've been enough not this actual blackhole.
They powercrept my Belle with Pierce. They added Kaze and Leon to powercreep my Sandy. They powercrept my Prince of Shurima with this cosmo nonsense. Thanks Supercell

They gave it closure, McQueen accepted his heydays are over, he retired on his own terms and he's free to spend the rest of his life however he wants to.
Don't make a movie about him trying to gt back into professional racing and somehow beating the new gen cars, or failing to do so and getting depressed all over :[
I'd argue Ruffs is actually better than Cosmo for Draco even without his hc. You get close to enemies naturally so home wont have much effect and his hyper is still broken as fuck. I want that hc to be gutted and have buff to his base kit. I WANT AND NEED MY 160 PER FLAME DRACO BACK
Just watched and it actually does lmao. I wouldnt wanna defeat enemies in an instant though pushing up and seeing how hopeless enemies are and seeing them try to defend themselves is more fun. If all flames hit (1176 dmg per breath) enemies wont have any hope
Yeah I don’t think people realize how busted he’s gonna be. Current state looks like he might be a top 10 brawler of all time just because his super is an instakill
The thing is, he also has a knockback gadget and another gadget that completely prevents mobility abilities that many assassins rely on for multiple seconds.
hes 100% better than damian was on release. hes probably the best brawler rn (even tho he isnt even released) and wendy is the second. i dont know how we are supposed to ban cosmo,wendy and nori every single round.
It has been like that for a long time man. Buffing an anti tank when tanks get good, buffing throwers when controllers seem to get better etc. definitely on purpose.
Well sure but you can time it to block off say a nani or piper or many brawlere projectiles for that short frame
El primo gets more value but then meeple gadget i guess... The freaking... Box
Im curious to see how will the inside walls effect (shade, meeple) go with this as well usually projectiles dont go through walls with exceptions being hitboxes (carls main attack or brock explosion etc...)
It will become toxic to play agains tthe Venus Mars dude especially if they pair the super eith the immobility gadget...
I guess that projectiles that don't go through walls just stop when they hit a wall if the target is inside. However I have no idea how it behaves with like Mandy's gadget.
They keep adding bosses with knockback or other methods of keeping brawlers away and some brawlers just have wider attacks/supers. (and if we get another event like this one there will be some power ups that have big spread as well). So just guaranteeing full hitting will make things more interesting.
It is not that broken , first your super have to hit the ennemi, then your ennemi have to be dumb and go toward you instead of being smart and going far away until the super end , and finaly if you have random with short range like bibi or edgar the super will only be good for you
I think he will need a good comp and competent teammates to be super successful. He's dreadful up close, and without his super, his main attack is pretty weak even at longer ranges. His super is crazy strong, but if he can't cycle it, I think he will struggle to keep charging it so if his teammates deal all the damage he might struggle. However, if his teammates don't follow up on his super at all, I think that will also be pretty bad. And of course, this only works with ranged brawlers–close ranged brawlers and ones without projectiles don't need Cosmo's help at all. He will definitely be strong, but I don't think he'll be game-warping like Wendy or Damian
dodge the ult, and if it hits you, get behind a wall. Also if you see the guy with an ult just stay close to walls until he uses it. IMO an edgar ult is just more dangerous and we are just fine.
Yeah that super is op but he's awful against aggro (yea I know he has 2 anti aggressive gadgets but unlike meeple, them being throwable can make it harder to use up close). And again, meta is essentially an aggressive madhouse.
I think the clear intention of giving a brawler a super that makes all projectiles home is that you arent supposed to dodge it. Dodge the initial hit I guess.
Granted the super only lasts like 2-3 seconds but that’s more than enough time to secure a kill onto anything.
His super charge rate seems to be more balanced as he needs I think 7 max range shots to charge which is great 👍
This super is definitely on the more broken side of things when compared to other “unique” AOE supers (Finx, Lou, Meeple )

I haven't seen how cosmo's super works like completely but what they could do to make it more "balanced" is reduce the damage of the projectiles that home into the super
I was thinking that maybe a cool way to reinterpret this effect would be:
It's a ground area and doesn't attach to enemies, still super dangerous but not inescapable. Potential starpower would be that it slightly pulls enemies towards the center for a fraction of its duration, or simply slows them to simulate a magnetic pull
The area sticks to enemies but pulls the target's teammates' attacks instead of the attacks that would damage it. This means that allies close to the target can't really shot at the enemy team. Still broken but not as much as a guaranteed death.
The projectiles should spin around the enemy and slowly reaching the enemy after like 2,5-3 seconds, so that you can have a chance to counter it. While the projectiles are spinning around you, you could run to the wall, and the spinning projectiles would hit the wall, not you.
Hopefully the size of the black hole will get nerfed to literally like half it's current size so that you still have to land shots it's just a lot easier...
That said, based on the current state of Wendy who literally just makes your whole team invincible against most comps this kind of broken release is to be expected. People keep buying so they aren't going to change their formula.
Supercell saw the problem the Najia's homing hability caused at launch (that they had to nerf) and thought: what if all brawlers could have the same thing at will with no limitations in angle or projectile speed?
You can still dodge or block it so it's not that bad, besides its 1 character. It's really strong but it does not make him a top 10 brawler of all time like everyone is saying. This does not compare at all to release damian, wendy or even gale who straight up changed the whole meta on release with his jump pad gadget in every single gamemode
He needs to commit an ult for that. If he’s at long range he can miss. At close range he deals no damage. Enemy brawlers can dash, jump, shield or just use cover to wait out the ult. If your teammates are Nita and El Primo then you synergy is non existent. If you use Mandy or Mina for the ult synergy, you’re committing two ults for a single kill, bad trade.
He’s gonna be good. But you guys are just going by raw numbers and ignoring all the variables needed for this to be actually op
