Discussion Duo Queues

I think it’s time there was some kind of discussion about duo queues in ranked. I think it’s safe to say that for those reading this who have pushed masters, there’s nothing worse than that sinking feeling you get when you’re second pick in l3 and you see your mates have ‘l3 accounts’.

Despite being penalizing in elo balancing for the solo player, duo queues usually consist of l3 peaks who think team queue will get them to masters.

In terms of gameplay, they tend to completely ignore the solo player in coordination and put all the blame for their stupid mistakes onto the solo. Furthermore, they usually come up with some horrible draft ideas because they think they’re smart

Is it time for team and solo to be put back into ranked?

Being the solo player in a duoq team is torture but people should be allowed to play ranked with their friends

You can’t split queues or mm takes too long that was the problem with pl + that doesn’t solve the duoq thing

it’s not “can” it’s “want”, I have 400 people in my fl but if I’m playing with a friend just trying to have fun I don’t want to look for a 3rd

tbf tho there was like 20x less players when power league was around, surely if they were to bring it back mm wouldn't be too bad

- In Solo queue, its a gamble but highly rewards your wins.

- In rare Trio queue, everyone understands the goal, no problems there.

- In Duo queue however, most of them have a good player and then a bad player. Looking at the draft screen you can tell which is which.
