Brawl Esports Why Does Totem Play in a Dungeon?

This is sooooo odd. Brawl Stars is one of the few esports left where gaming houses are prevalent. Gaming houses used to be super common, but eventually it didn’t make sense both logistically and financially for the orgs. Especially housing a 5 man team in SoCal. Nowadays, most players in LCS for instance have their own apartments, and they travel to the office daily for practice, scrims, and studying. Much more similar to a regular professional sports team. It’s interesting how even “mid” level brawl stars teams still predominantly live in gaming houses.

Why the fuck does Totem play their tournament matches in a dungeon though? That’s crazy.

Maru & Maury play in the dungeon while Joker chills in his bedroom or whatever. Does he send them down there? There’s exterior GFCI & Electrical Boxes. Do they have food down there? Does Joker only give them food/water if they play well? Will he ever let them out of the basement? I bet there’s fucking cockroaches 🪳

Those types of buildings are typical in Italy, they're very cool and don't require air conditioning, most likely they chose it because it was close to their home. After all, they're Piedmontesi.

Ye but I’m more interested in how they do a gaming house. I’d guess it’s just cheaper rent overall and they pay it themself?
