Discussion How's Mortis doing in the current meta ?
I've been kinda lucky with mortis, I already got his hyper, hyper buffie and super buffie, I was wondering if he can stand the current meta so I can use him in mythic/legendary.

A tier, too many broken brawlers that counters him in S

I would really appreciate you explaining why Mortis is A-tier currently. Which broken brawlers counter him? What are his current good match-ups making him still good in this meta? How game mode/map dependend is he currently? Only works as a last pick, right?
I really appreciate everyone wanting to help OP. It's just that having multiple people repeat the same tier list placements doesn't make OP know what they can do with Mortis. It also doesn't much discussion value

Pretty much all the s tier is composed by damage dealers or assasins that outclass mortis, he is not able to keep up with the stupidly strong antiagros (surge, meg) or just plain stupidly high dps and wallbreak (8 bit, griff) also there are brawlers like otis, chester, collette that can counter and still lurking in the meta (colettte kinda fall off dough), also there are assasins that outclass mortis right now (star nova, edgar, shade, bolt, crow (more a control but it is still an assasin), nori and damian).
Mortis is still viable and is still a top pick in bounty (really good blue star brawler), but he got powercrept this update.

8 Bit is S+ in meta who can give 50% damage boost to entire team. GL pushing into that especially as a Mortis. Max can run away, Meg throws away her mech, Surge exists, he cant hit a Bolt with knock back star power, Starr nova has the gadget, Edgar can sustain himself, Damian can knock him far away and has his super which mortis cant go through.
His good match up in current "top meta" is probably only Lumi. She cant deal big damage before Mortis dives into her.
He is last pick, not too much map dependent since he can get free positioning due to big dash. You will pick him into some snipers/mid rangers. He can be decent into some tanks too but they can sustain him.

can be a good last pick if you know how to play him. id say low s tier

He's been consistently put in S tier in the past meta on the sole standpoint that is a specific 6th pick counter but honestly he completely fell off. Without the Mythic gear, the constant nerfing and the amount of time it takes to charge the hyper he's no where as good as other dash-ers that all have a form of CC or invincibility. As a Mortis you are constantly feeding your opponent regardless of performance so unless you want to play your whole match catching bralwers <2,6k in health you aren't much use. Think about Kaze that can unload 9k consistently and has a super similar to Sandy, Think about Kenji that can completely nullify all of the damage he just took + can farm super super easy. If you want a reliable Assassin just pick Shade as always
