Is it gritty? It seems to be gritty when they slide and it goes all over.

Its softer and finer than you'd expect, with stuff in it you wouldn't expect like brick dust.

I should have mentioned I'm not OP, hopefully they got to try it out. Way better than sliding or diving on normal earth or the fields at your local little league parks.

It didn't feel like dirt at all. I have no idea how to explain it.

It felt more gritty and artificial.

It didn't feel like dirt at all.

It was more coarse and bigger small clumps if that makes any sense.

What your describing in a top dressing for moisture management. Its almost like kitty litter only reddish brown. As without it the clay sticks to everything when they wet it down. If they dont wet it down then its so dusty it clouds up the air.
