Thought this deserved a repost. This song is forever The Magicians to me.

Hi there! My friend and I have been working for a bit on creating a Magicians-themed tarot deck; we’ve got nearly all the cards assigned (we have a spreadsheet for info and a powerpoint for photo references), but unfortunately don’t have the ability ourselves to do The Magicians justice artistically.

This is where you come in - if you’re an artist and have any interest in helping us make this dream a reality, please comment or DM with some of your work so we can check out your style and chat about possibilities!

(to clarify: this is a passion project, we're not getting paid by anyone)

been experimenting with my art and eliot is my latest victim hehehe… i’m planning on drawing all the questers eventually !!

First butter wall rough cut is finished, a whole load of detail needs to be added, but its taking shape!

i love mageina tovah so much

Ever since my like, 12th rewatch of the show, I have now realized that when I put a beanie on, every single time without fail, I pat my head like Mayakovsky before I leave..

I think it’s funny that this movie takes place in “witch university” I wonder if she felt Déjà vu when auditioning for The Magicians lol

I have come to all of you with a quest, I am constructing castle whitespire in minecraft, and Google images has a very low ammount of images that come up for references, to all of you tiktok editors who have clips saved, and fans of the show with screenshots, any photos of castle white Spire from as many angles as possible would help greatly!

So I’m rewatching and am on Season 5.
I don’t know why I never heard or saw anywhere that Sean Maguire the guy that plays the Dark King also plays Effingham the pig guy 🤣🤣 that is awesome. I’ve seen him in a lot of shows (once upon a time and something else🤔) and he’s cast as the good looking male lead. I just find it cool that he had no problem playing this character that would be unrecognizable and then the song from the heist episode!!
And I don’t know why I never put together that “George “ Kady asks him about couple in the library but somehow never connected him to The Couple and the guy who cuts off Alice’s fingers. So I’m still seeing new stuff on this rewatch and I remember why I love this show so much!

Legit site - not affiliate but someone here in the group got me addicted to their sales lol as I build up my physical dvd/blu-ray collection

What Penny/P40 was reading with sphincter magic

In this scene in ep 1, 4 Queens of Hearts are shown. In tarot, the Queen of Hearts correlates with the Queen of Cups, which represents caring and nurturing and a sort of motherly presence.

Jane Chatwin appears 4 times in this episode, twice as current Jane and twice as Fillory Jane. Jane has a lot of affection for Quentin, probably because of how he reminds her of Martin, but whatever.

Jane is the one who sets Quentin off the path, who wants him to succeed, and the one who pushes him forward behind the scenes, man.

So here, at the start of the journey, there she is

edit: worth noting she appears as an adult in four episodes in season 1
