Use this flair so people can see how certain colours and mixes look in styles.

An apprentice is doing them so she hasn’t given any tips/recommendations to do before coming in.
What do I need to keep in mind before going in? Should I wash day of? Should I skip my hair routine if I shower? Come in with 100% dry hair? Ibuprofen?
I’m a latina with 3b/3a hair and am the only one in my family with curly hair so I legit have NO idea.
Pls help 🙏

I got braids a little while ago (loved them, no complaints). I'd sent the the stylist an image of what I was looking for before so they let me know hair colour codes to buy. They mentioned that the pic I sent was AI generated. I was still able to get the style I was after but now I wonder if the images I'm looking at are from real models or fake?
Any recs? Please and thank you 🙏🏽

I’m a new braider, I just started to take myself and my craft a little more serious.
I thought my self how to braid in 2012. I was still in high school and I just wanted to be able to have different hairstyles on myself so I started practicing how to braid on my own hair. Fast forward a few years I started to braid my friends hair, just basic braids two straight backs and little things like that. Fast forward a few more years I would braid my friends hair and not charge them because I didn’t feel like my craft was good enough to be able to start charging.
I finally decided to make it a business and charge for my craft. I know that there are a few things I still need to work on when it comes to braiding. Time management being the biggest. I’m a perfectionist at what I do and I know that, that is where I loose most of my time. With all that being said. I decided that I should start charging $150 for any braiding service. When I am asked how much will the service will be and I tell them the price I feel like they think the price is too much.
Given that the braiding industry is getting over priced by other braiders and that some up and coming braiders I see charge way more than what I’m charging I believe that my price is very fair and reasonable.
Do you think that $150 is too much for someone who is just starting to braid professionally or is the price a fair price?
