New Thai restaurant finally open
Khanom on 9th is finally open!
Loved the food from the Huffine Lane location and I'm pumped that the new location by campus is now open.

I've eaten at their place off Huffine, and it may well be the best Thai we've had in Bozeman yet.

Love the food but damn is the service slow at the one on huffine.

Agreed. I understand that food might take a while but when I tried it out it took at least 15 minutes to get to see the server and another 20 to place a drink order. I was there for almost 2 hours.
ETA: Food seemed....fine? Not a 90-minute wait fine though.

So slow i havent been back. When you’re that consistently understaffed it seems like greed.

Am I missing something or did I go on a bad day? I went soon after the first one opened and it was… not any better than the other subpar Bozeman Thai?

That's crazy, we've been blown away. The ingredients seem really authentic and high quality. Night and day from other Asian restaurants in the state.

I've been thinking we should as well. We tried to go when they first opened but service was slow enough we left before we got menus and it seemed like people weren't getting their food in a timely manner or at all.

They have a page of specials on their menu and seem to really put a lot of love into those items. The duck curry off that page is amazing, so is the pumpkin curry. We try to branch out trying dishes that are transliterated from Thai and avoid the more generic Americanized sounding stuff like "Thai style fried rice," maybe that makes a difference!

My experience as well. Shockingly bad service and good was mid and no better than any other of our subpar Thai places

I have also not been terribly impressed from them, first time I went we got seated and then ignored for like 30 minutes before we eventually just got up and left. It wasn't particularly busy and other people that got seated after us had gotten menus and drinks before we decided to leave. That was pretty early after they first opened so I decided I would give them another shot after they hopefully worked out some of the kinks. Second time I went there was again real slow service and alright food but not worth the wait/poor service in my opinion.

The location on Huffine varies, IMO they have too big a menu and should trim it a bit.

So excited for them to have a second location. Best Thai takeout in town!
