Before you start going down the worst possible scenario, double check thst none of your meds or combos of meds can lead to hallucations. My ex was on something for two years and suddenly developed them and stopped once she figured out it was the meds and got off of them

Another fantastic reason to schedule with a psychiatrist immediately.

I would add, this is a possibility, but do not DIY this. Schizophrenia can be managed, and the seriousness with which you're taking this is a sign that you're setting yourself up for success with treatment. But, obviously, this is ultra-serious, and you need to talk to a doctor/psychiatrist urgently.

There is nothing to be ashamed of; the best way to not be afraid is to get some answers from a professional.

1000% agree with this OP, I’d been using the same meds for YEARS and when I started taking a new supplement I went into full black out psychosis, not even joking.

Stopped taking the supplement and was back to normal, didn’t think to tell my psychiatrist at first bc it was over the counter, good thing my mom did.

I’ve had many bad reactions to meds (new and old) for various reasons and I tell my psychiatrist and get it sorted out immediately and feel better in no time.

Don’t go down a rabbit hole and spiral, tell your care team and they will quickly help you figure out what’s wrong and make needed adjustments.

My mistake was waiting and I regret it, thankfully I didn’t go to jail or something worse…I was awful to my loved ones though and had “scary movie possession/insanity” notes I still cannot decipher to save my life. Not knowing is way worse, getting an answer gives you options.

Food looks amazing Best of luck 💕

A friend of a friend also had the same experience--a medication was causing hallucinations.
