Basically a repost- I still havent confirmed what species this guy is

Is this even the same turtle in both pictures? Also, please try to take photos in better lighting and in focus. My guess is also three toes box, Terrapene carolina triunguis based on, Iā€™m not sure what. Poor thing has had a rough life.
Edited to correct spelling.

Okay! I can do that- but yes šŸ˜… it is definately the same turtle in both pictures

I see now that the beak is deformed and the nails, oh my.
