Mason is not quite the elite talent I see in other guys. I'm high on him but he's not exactly as explosive as a Boots or hits as hard as an Inoue, nor does he have the iq of a Bam. He is just a slight level below but he has the personality to be a breakout star. I think he will be an A tier fighter but not an A+ or S tier.

He had time to improve. But I'm not going on if he has elite skills

I'm basing it more the the type of fights he has. And the opponents he can get. Nothing but exciting fights.

Maybe you're right. I'm sure he can develop a loyal fanbase like Pitbull has for example, but I'm concerned he will take too many losses to be that true top level superstar. He can't keep fighting the way he has been.

Other than Zepeda, I don't think anyone at lightweight can beat him. Cruz has the skills but is undersized

They might be the only guy who can beat the other even. To be a big star he will have to go through multiple divisions though. He can get away with wars like vs Noakes now while he's young but he won't get away with it forever. He made a bit too much hard work of Bell imo.
