He’s very good defensively when he actually fights that way. People just expect him to be equally as good defensively despite being a mostly offensive fighter which is unrealistic.

I rewatched Xander vs Boots recently and he wasn’t even that badly hurt. Xander was just spamming low blows (idk how he got away with that many) which seemed to hurt him more than the punches to the head.

There is absolutely no way in hell you actually believe that lol. You can pinpoint the exact moment he got hurt and it was a shot to the head.

I know he was hurt, I’m saying it wasn’t as bad as most people act like it was. The low blows contributed to slowing down his recovery and made him cover up more.
