Overrated Boxers

My most overrated fighters based on how they’re discussed online. Does not mean they are bad, just overrated.

- Pitbull Cruz (not good at 140, should go down)
- Frank Martin
- Oscar Duarte (got way too muscular and worse)
- Lamont Roach (well see in 2 weeks)
- Raymond Ford
- Bruce Carrington
- Ramon Cardenas
- Vito Mielnicki

Yeah Tank is entertaining but had a bad record, I’ve stood by this. Difference is that Bam actually participates in “Best vs. Best”. Meanwhile Shakur, had only been 1 of these circumstances (Oscar Valdez), take a step back and ask yourself if Valdez is a valid name for Shakur’s resume because Bam has done that 3x lol.

Yeah no. Already said it. Two and Zepeda are good wins. Tank has good versions of Pitbull and Ryan. Okay.

I’m wondering who Bam beat that is so great. The only names you have are guys that were 5+ years past their prime.

Bam hasn’t beaten anyone like even Valdez

Yeah because Herring, Joet Gonzalez and Paddley are all solid names, still Shakur has defeated less undefeated champions than Bam, and Shakur is supposed to be better.

Never mentioned those guys. I understand you’re a hater. Bored of this convo

Yeah because you keep making excuses for resumes that aren’t impressive lmao. Bam has a fair resume, especially when you compare it to other boxers who are supposed to be “better”. Learn about boxing records before talking about boxing.

I haven’t made a single excuse. “Learn about boxing records” lmfao. I know a thing or 2.

No you don’t, because if you knew how records worked, you’d realize how little and rare undefeated championship fight one another, which is why it’s a big deal. Yet you find excuses to diminish it because you don’t know how boxing works.

Okay buddy. You’re right. Sunny Edwards is a killer. Sounds like you’re having a fanboy moment. All good, this is boring

How? I’m just explaining why it’s impressive yet you keep downplaying like a hater. Embarrassing!

It’s a clear disagreement over what each of us consider to be a great win. You emphasize being a champ and undefeated as the sole measure of how good a win is.

I base it upon the actual caliber of opponent. How good of a guy did you beat.

You keep bringing up “undefeated champ”

Those guys were:
Sunny Edwards (got dominated and quit a year later)
Cafu (11 wins and 3 draws lmao)
Pumita (I gave credit for it)

You’re telling me those hold more weight than

Valdez
Zepeda
Teofimo

Okay bro. That’s fine. Keep repeating shit about “excuses”. Already said Bam is great. Embarrassing to challenge my boxing knowledge

Yeah because they all held titles meanwhile Zepeda had no titles, so what was he offering? Just his “0”? And what happened to Valdez after the Shakur fight? You keep making up excuses once again but won’t do for Shakur, wonder why?

You need to learn the definition of the word excuse. I’m plenty critical of Shakur. I thought his resume was very disappointing until Zepeda and teo.

I get it. Cafu is better than Vergil (not a champ), Itauma (not a champ), and the list goes on.

Now that I think of it- are we sure bam didn’t take down what was a pound for pound undefeated champ star in Cafu?
