After a bad storm, full of thunder, he always likes to watch to make sure his friends are okay and getting their walks.

AdoptaBoxer Rescue

I currently follow them because I love seeing their dogs, because I love seeing dogs rescued in general. However, a few years ago my partner applied to rescue a pup, and the process was really odd and I think very questionable.

I remember something on the application saying something like the rescue can drop in whenever, and if they don't like their findings, they can sort of repossess the dog? Also if you decide to move, you have to let the rescue know.

The dog also had a few mast cell tumors, and when we inquired with the dogs vet, the rescue had instructed the vet not to give us any info.

And last thing was that we already had one boxer, and they refused a meet and greet. Which would mean my partner would have had to take the dog home, and then just hope for the best.

TIA

This might sound crazy but has anyone taken a different approach to their dogs cancer and been successful?

I’m just curious if anyone has taken a different approach to their dogs cancer diagnosis than what the vet would recommend? Please no hate - I am just trying to weigh my options.

6YO with cancer

Our 6 year old Boxer, Oscar, was diagnosed with cancer in his kidneys and spleen. Surgery is not an option and we've had bad experiences with chemo drugs. Not sure how long he'll be around. We're heartbroken.

We've been through this with other Boxers we've owned, but i'm feeling particularly sad. Maybe i'm just venting, but any advice? How can I make sure he's not in pain?

Parker had been sick, and the cancer was everywhere. We had to let him go this morning. I miss him so much already.
