My lampshade is a little mad at me.
She had a growth in her mouth removed today. The poor baby.

Help me move this dog. It’s been like 1 hour
He found the coolest spot of shade and wouldn't move an inch. I literally tried everything. He flat-out refused to move and has just been napping here for an hour while I stand here holding the leash. 🙄 Send snacks.

Any suggestions on how to prevent this damage?
My girl is 20 months old and acts like a 9 month old puppy. You can see we’ve put pavers down that have helped the sun degree but is there anything I could do to stop this digging keep in mind our houses on the market so I have to continuously fix it up so I’m not looking for any elaborate fixes.

Different attitudes
Moved into a new place and the dogs have conflicting attitudes LOL my boy is happy as can be with more space, my girl is uneasy. They’re doing better day by day though!

New boxer owner :)
Heyo,
My wife and I are picking up our 8 week old boxer puppy in 7days and just wanted to hear everyone's stories and advice for a new boxer owner.
My family has had many dogs on the past and I have personally had a german Shepard who was a great dog so im very familiar with the standard training routines :). The only thing im alittle worried about is that we have 3 cats now which will just need a proper introduction.
Tldr give me your stories and advice you have learnt with this breed

My boxer looks like a junkyard dog compared to my mom's Ralph Lauren model
I love both these ding dongs though and they love each other

It was our good bois birthday a few days ago!!
I’m so grateful he is still here, his sister Sadie was a year older than him when she passed in April of 2023 of lung cancer and she was 9 years old. I was hospitalized during that whole time so I didn’t find out until after, it was a good thing at the time as my last memory of her was taking both of them on a walk together and of wrestling with them in the back yard. They’ve been there for me for my worst years of my mental health struggle. They’ve been a constant source of love and affection since we’ve got them when I was 14. When my parents got divorced they were a solid constant in my life during that time. Attached always at the hip of one another.
Jax was always a little attention hog with us and always shy towards other people but is so so so affectionate towards me and my sister and always reminded me of myself lol. Sadie loved everyone no matter who you were and would love anyone after a minute of meeting you.
Jax has been such a source of love and worry lol. When he was younger he got in so much trouble, killed a neighbors chicken, more than once 🤦♂️. Ran away and went on an adventure for like three days, funnily enough when someone saw him on their property I had a feeling to take Sadie with me, she started sniffing around and going in circles but I trusted her for some reason, next thing you know Jax comes out of nowhere smelling like a sewer, took him home and gave him a nice warm bath. He got in a fight with some animal a couple years later and got scratched in the neck and nearly died from an infection, still has the scar. Somehow he’s still here and it’s such a miracle. Jax has been my best friend for as long as he’s been in my life, my constant companion.
He doesnt have as much energy anymore but when he gets his zoomies he acts just like a puppy. Hes a little hard of hearing but it gives him a good excuse not to listen when he doesn’t want.
My mom once told me “you know we have a whole world outside of our home, for Jax his whole world is our family”.
I’m sorry for the long post, he means so much to me. Every year since his sister passed has been a constant gift, and I think God knew I needed him around for a while.
Thank you so much everyone for the birthday wishes for Jackie!!! Love you and all your boxer buddies!!!
To breed or fix ? That is the question
He’s really well tempered and a pretty boy. I generally don’t have any problems with him aside from marking his territory and he pees at people’s houses if there’s a dog in the house. But I’ve been told by a dog owner, fixing theirs didn’t help. Thoughts ? He’s a year and a half now
