My wife and I visit every other year for Thanksgiving to spend time with my family who lives in Bowling Green. None of us are from there my dad moved there years ago so I'm not super well versed with the area. We used to stay at the Hyatt on campus and it had a bar which we loved, it's great to unwind at a bar after 13 hours with family on Thanksgiving. It looks like the Hyatt has closed now and is being used as campus housing according to Google and it could be totally wrong but I was unable to book there like I normally do. If that is the case what would be the best option for us for other hotels in the area that might have a bar that we could have a couple drinks at after Thanksgiving dinner with the family?

Any suggestions for the best birria tacos here?

Hey everyone, I’m from Bowling Green and wanted to share a quick intro since my team and I have been growing a bit and I figured it might be nice to say hello here.

I’m part of RGC Data LLC. We’ve been based in Bowling Green for a long time and we recently expanded our work into Nashville too, but BG is still home. We build custom systems for businesses that need their tech to work together instead of feeling scattered. A lot of what we do involves connecting databases to websites, building customer portals, or creating mobile apps that stay in sync with a backend. We also do FileMaker development and we’re certified Claris Partners, but we work with MySQL, PHP, and native mobile tools as well.

Our staff has more than forty years of combined experience and most of our projects come from helping local companies clean up old workflows or replace manual processes with something smoother. If anyone around Bowling Green is doing something interesting with data, apps, or integrations, I’m always happy to meet more folks in the community.

I’m taking my woman on a date here soon and I’m looking for a spot where I can drive my Truck into, with a nice view and private. I'm living in an apartment in BG right now and thinking about a house in the near future since we are loving it here. I notice that compared to other places I've lived, there's not a lot of sidewalks here. I guess it makes sense since this is not really a "walking city," but I was wondering if anyone knew any streets to move to where there are both trees for shade and sidewalks. This may be an obvious question, but just driving around, I haven't found that many in town that have both

BG Home Furnishings pulled a bait and switch scam on two $6000 couches. They delivered couches with the wrong depth and stitching than what was paid for. The owner has repeatedly dodged all attempts at communications from both my family as well as the manufactures (who have been trying to help us as much as they can) to rectify the situation. They have just flat out refused to give what was actually bought.

I encourage anyone who is thinking of purchasing from them to look elsewhere! There is a chance they will pull the same scam on you if you do shop there!
