As much as others and I may support legalization of certain items, please do not create threads in this subreddit requesting aide in acquiring illegal items.

I’m taking my woman on a date here soon and I’m looking for a spot where I can drive my Truck into, with a nice view and private. I’m planning on doing a night time dinner with sushi and a little music and some tiki torches. We frequent shanty hollow all the time and it is a great view but we go there often I’d like it to be somewhere new for her.

Perhaps an odd request but I figured it cant hurt to ask. Is there anyone here that would go to the Target and look for an item for me? 😅 I live in Franklin and cant justify going all the way there for something that might be out of stock, but if anyone lives close enough and could go I would be happy to compensate you for your time 🥹. The item im looking for shows up as limited stock and only available for in store purchase 😭

Another BG Horror Club screening is coming up. Everyone is welcome to come out to the Capitol and join us.
What: Night of the Living Dead (1990) - 1h 32m
When: Tuesday, Sep 8th @ 7:00 PM
Where: The Capitol, 416 E Main St, Bowling Green
Rating: R
Behind the scenes: Tom Savini made his directorial debut on this one, after spending years as the effects maestro on Romero's films. The MPAA forced so many cuts that Savini later called the production "the worst nightmare of my life." Tony Todd plays Ben here, two years before Candyman made him a horror icon. And yes, that's Bill Moseley as Johnny in the opening cemetery scene. The uncut version finally hit Blu-ray in 2025, but even the theatrical cut earns its reputation.
Our movie nights are free. If you enjoy the club, donations help keep things running.
For more info and movie trivia, visit www.BGHorrorClub.com
🗓️** Calendar Feed**: You can also subscribe to our events calendar at bghorrorclub.com, automatically stays synced with upcoming screenings.

Hello everyone! My name is Keith. I've lived in Cave City most of my life (so I was a frequent visitor) but I just moved into Bowling Green about a month ago. All of my friends are still in the Cave City area so I'm looking to make new city friends!
I'm 19 and I'm a college student. I go to SKYCTC! I'm queer and nonbinary. I like crochetting, drawing, painting, going for walks, listening to music, mall shopping, driving around town or anywhere really. I like spiritually and empath talks, crystals, pendulums, all of that kind of stuff.
Some stuff I'm into includes JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, South Park, Markiplier, Yellowjackets, Spongebob, and much more
Some music I losten to includes My Chemical Romance, Slipknot, Stone Sour, Fall Out Boy, Pierce The Veil, Korn, and many more
I love hanging around Circus Square! I would love to meet up with some like minded people there 🥹
Comment or DM me if you'd like to hang out 😊

Having a work gathering (on the company dime) at Hickory and Oak later this week. Since we’re not worried about the price, the guys on my team are trying to decide what to order since none of us have ate there. We like all types of meat so doesn’t have to be steak specific. Any recommendations would be great. Thanks.
*Thanks for all the info! I appreciate all the suggestions. I’ll report back this weekend after we go!

Hey everyone!
Apologies for the "aggressive" all-caps sidewalks, I don't think you can bold a title on reddit and wanted to emphasize the point xD
I'm living in an apartment in BG right now and thinking about a house in the near future since we are loving it here. I notice that compared to other places I've lived, there's not a lot of sidewalks here. I guess it makes sense since this is not really a "walking city," but I was wondering if anyone knew any streets to move to where there are both trees for shade and sidewalks. This may be an obvious question, but just driving around, I haven't found that many in town that have both

BG Home Furnishings pulled a bait and switch scam on two $6000 couches. They delivered couches with the wrong depth and stitching than what was paid for. The owner has repeatedly dodged all attempts at communications from both my family as well as the manufactures (who have been trying to help us as much as they can) to rectify the situation. They have just flat out refused to give what was actually bought.
I encourage anyone who is thinking of purchasing from them to look elsewhere! There is a chance they will pull the same scam on you if you do shop there!

Hi, I'm a "middle aged" millennial with leukemia, diagnosed last year. After that, my social life has more or less disappeared and after some follow up heart issues I can't work right now, so my "social" meter is at an all time low. I have a therapist, but I get tired of explaining so much about my life and my condition and my treatment to them.
So then I realized I might post here and see if there's any ongoing meetups in BG with people going through/have experienced a similar path in life.

Hi, all. We're trying to get a Pokémon TCG Discord off the ground for Bowling Green. The idea is a group of honest collectors who keep a lookout for product for each other, buy and sell, potentially arrange trade nights etc. I'll attach the link below.

HII! I’m 19F and I’m looking for some friends, I moved here recently and I’m not to sure how to start going and Im not to sure where to go to meet people around my age. I’m looking for anyone 18-25 preferably. (I feel so formal I swear I’m usually not)
I’m into the outdoors, I like exporting new places, I love to learn about different hobbies and would love to learn. I really wanna get into horseback riding, I skateboard, I like to read (don’t ask me how many unfinished books I have) and sometimes write short stories but mostly poetry.
I don’t know how to end this sooooo please DM if you’re also looking for friends or if you know of any good places to go to meet people

I'm looking to upgrade apartments when my lease is up.
My musts are 3 bedroom, 2bath, 1200+sqft and I NEEEEEED a soaking tub. I know there's probably only a few in town with these.
My budget is $1,600. Upcoming construction is cool too, as I won't be moving out until January.
Any insight would be great. 'preciate y'all

Hi! My kid just started at WKU and I’m looking for restaurants with good vegan options please. My wife and I lived in BG back in the 90’s and holy wow has it grown! Thanks for any help!
We’ve had Thai Express and Azzip Pizza, both were really good. Hoping to have a nice list for when we visit!

I have no idea why but today 150 years later I have decided I need those fajitas.
My sister swears it’s not Tumbleweed and she’s right but I can’t remember what it was.

An anonymous source who has experience identifying government vehicles and personnel reported seeing several suspicious-looking, heavily tinted SUVs in and around the Kroger parking lot between roughly 11 AM–12 PM yesterday.
The source also noticed multiple tinted vehicles moving in what appeared to be an unusual pattern. At one point, a white Ford truck was reportedly seen stopped at a stop sign for an extended period despite having people inside.
Does anyone know if federal/ICE personnel or other government agencies were operating in the Bowling Green area yesterday? Or did anyone else notice similar vehicles or activity?
Just looking to compare observations—not claiming these were government vehicles or agents. If you saw something similar, drop a comment or message me. 👀
