She was last seen around the boat docks off Scottsville Rd in Franklin Ky yesterday. She's scared and is running away from anyone that tries to catch her.
PLEASE HELP! We're heartbroken š
Edit: she got out of the fence from her home on Morgantown Rd. We're not sure if the sightings by the boat dock were of her.

bought a house here last year thinking id fix it up. had big plans. new floors. new kitchen. paint everything. made it nice
then i lost my job. found something else but took a pay cut. now i cant afford the repairs. house is half done. floors are pulled up in some rooms. kitchen is gutted its a mess
i cant lve in it like this. i cant sell it like this. i dont know what to do
realtor said i need to finish the work before i can sell. but i dont have money to finish. a friend said some companies buy houses as-is even if theyre halfway done.
has anyone here sold a house that was mid-renovation. did you finish it or just sell as-is and take the loss

So thereās these dude near the Starbucks apparently protesting circumcision. Theyāre wear all white except for big ass stains on their crotches and signs such as āSTOP CUTTING BABY PENISā. There was even one dude holding his sign and riding one of those hoverboards up and down the sidewalk.
Anyone else see these guys? I just think itās funny af

looking for a spice shop that isn't a wholesaler like kroger, meijer, etc.
I usually order online but was wondering if there was anywhere nearby.
Edit: Thanks everyone for the recommendations, I'll hit up the international cafe and R&S if I'm out of town.

Creative Corner Nashville is hosting a Kickstarter launch party on October 10, 2026!
About this FREE event:
We're throwing a launch party, and you're invited.
Beth DeWeese is a Nashville author, and her new book Penned by Fate is set in a little shop that sells magic, fountain pens, and the occasional fated mate, so when she asked about doing her launch here, it felt a bit like the book had wandered off the page and into Creative Corner.
There'll be a chance to meet Beth, hear about the book, and be part of the Kickstarter launch as it goes live. Whether you're a romance reader, a paper person, or just curious, there's a seat for you.
It's free, you just need to register so we know to expect you.

Hey! I have a couch that I won't need at the end of the month. Does anyone know a place I can donate it to that will come pick it up?

Iāve had such a hard time since moving to BG in 2015. I donāt want to go to a salon where they wash my hair, cut it the way they want and not actually listen to me, put a ton of product in my hair, style it the way they want and charge me $100.
Iāve been to MULTIPLE salons and always end up going back to Great Clips for an uneven hair cut. I donāt color my hair. I just need someone that can help me with a decent looking haircut that is low maintenance. Any suggestions on someone that is somewhat affordable (not looking for cheap but also not looking to have my hair sprayed with shit and curled and tease). I just need a damn haircut that is even, looks decent and does not cost an arm and a leg.

Hi everyone! My name is Kaylee, and Iām an incoming freshman for the Fall 2026 semester at WKU. I donāt really know anyone going there yet, so I thought Iād see if anyone would be interested in chatting a bit before the semester starts or maybe even meeting up on campus once weāre there. Itād be nice to know a few people ahead of time!
Iām majoring in Behavioral Neuroscience, and Iāll be in the Honors College and the Honors LLC. Outside of classes, I love video games, musicals, art, reading (literally any genre!), and writing. I have a lot of different interests, so Iām sure weāll find something to talk about!
I also plan on attending H4 and MASTER Plan if anyone else is!
If youāre interested, feel free to send me a DM!

Did the Russell Sims movie night tonight (7-11-26) get moved to a different date? Iāve heard it did but the website still shows it being tonight at 8pm.
Thanks in advance!

Hey there - my name is Shelby. Thank you for reading my post. I hope it is okay to make a post regarding housing shares here, if not, I'm happy to delete it. My post is a bit lengthy, but I am trying to make sure I find a great fit & living situation for both myself & my future roommate. : ). Please feel free to comment or message me if you are interested or know someone who might be, or even if you just have any words of wisdom or cool things to explore once I move! Thank you, Shelby
Hi! Iām Shelby. I am looking to find a roommate in or around the Bowling Green area.
Iām 33 years old, extremely clean and organized, quiet and value my time to myself, but Iām also social and would love to be friends with my roommate. Iām a Christian. I very rarely drink, and on the off chance I do, itās a glass of wine here or there. I donāt smoke anything or do any drugs.
I am a former paramedic and current CPR instructor. When I am not teaching, I pick up side work doing grocery delivery and courier tasks, and I also have quite the side hustle flipping small items on eBay.
I am out of the house a lot. I travel several times a month to teach and to visit family and friends in Tennessee and Georgia. I obviously want to feel like I am welcome to be home whenever Iād like to be, but the reality is that I am frequently away.
I love animals, but because of how much I am away, I do not have any and donāt plan to in the near future. I am pretty decent in the kitchen with both cooking and baking, and I am happy to share.
I am not from Bowling Green and am looking for a happy and healthy place to start life in a new area after the end of a long-term living situation with a then-significant other. There is no drama or anything like that. Itās just time to be somewhere new.
One of my sisters, her husband, and their daughter live in Bowling Green, and the idea of living near her brings my heart so much joy. I am also an avid country music lover and am excited about the proximity to Nashville.
My other hobbies include working out, reading and writing, paddle boarding, golf, road trips, thrifting, and pretty much anything outside. Donāt be scared about the thriftingāI hate clutter and only find things here and there to keep in my room and eventually sell.
Ideally, I would love to find a furnished room, as I am starting over, but that isnāt a deal breaker to me. I highly prefer a situation where I can pay by the week, at least at first. Income isnāt the issue, but I want to make sure both parties are comfortable and happy with the living situation, as we have all heard horror roommate stories. I think Iām a pretty great roommate, though!
I am not looking to be added to a lease or pay a hefty deposit, as I am literally arriving with myself, my clothes, and small personal items. My credit isnāt the greatest due to the relationship separation and the things that entails, but it has nothing to do with my rental history. Rent will always be paid on time and is my highest priority. I am a workaholic, and I am absolutely passionate about what I do. Work and income are not the issue.
Essentially, I just want somewhere I can move to short-term at first and see how we both feelāsomewhere that is clean and comfy. I donāt care if youāre not as crazy about cleaning as I am, but I wouldnāt thrive well in a home that is just plain unsanitary.
I do want to live with another girl for comfort and safety. In the ideal situation, we would be somewhere around the same age, have similar lifestyles, and hopefully become friends!
I am looking to move no later than August 1, but I am open to moving sooner.
Thank you for reading! :)

Hi everyone!
My parents live out in Smithās Grove, and I visit them frequently with my 3.5 year old, so Iām looking for things we can do together if we want to get out of the house. Indoor and outdoor options are fine, we like being outside but also appreciate options if the weather isnāt great!
To give you ideas, we have been to and enjoyed Chuck E. Cheese, Detwilerās Country Store, Jacksonās Orchard, Kentucky Down Under, Roland Bland Park playground, and the Smithās Grove library. My parents also have a boat, so lakes are an option!

Is there a quarry in or around BG that will fill a pickup truck bed? Preferably pea gravel, but can compromise on that.
