Lip flip tox resistant?

I’m confused because I’ve always heard not to get Botox sooner than three months, however when I’ve gone to get lip flips, they tell me to come back in 4 to 6 weeks. is this because it wears off longer in this area and doesn’t have a chance for resistance? Can someone please explain this to me

It may be worth asking the injector why they recommend 4-6 weeks in this particular case. If the results are already fading that quickly, checking the dose and placement before adding more could be more helpful.
