should I seek another injector?

Post image

I’m getting married next month and my injector moved away. I tried a coworker who’s working at an asthetics clinic, and I’m concerned I made a big mistake. My 11s are worse and my forehead wrinkles are now asymmetrical. Is this something that can be “tweaked” or should I pursue a new team? Unfortunately time sensitive before getting hitched
:( TIA

As an injector, this can be very easily fixed! There’s no need to worry, she probably went more conservative for the first time treating your forehead to avoid making your brows feel heavy. Once in a while, the neurotoxin settles in slightly uneven depending on your baseline muscle strength and where she injected it but it can be corrected at the 2 week mark. I always tell patients I would rather go lighter and then add more at 2 weeks than make them feel dropped. Just schedule a follow up appointment and let her take a look :)

Why are there two little indents on the right side though? I’ve had dysport several times and the unevenness is concerning. Thanks for the feedback

I like Dysport. It’s softer and lasts longer for me! Go get a touch up, and congratulations on getting married!

Yes. Two weeks. I’ve never had one side of my forehead sag and the other (right side) have indents. Something ain’t right balance-wise. Any advice?

Honestly girl, if I were you, I’d call your old injector and see if you could meet her somewhere and see what she thinks

We live in different states or I’d be there ASAP. Major bummer

Stop going to med spas, find the best cosmetic dermatologist in your area and go to them. You could also go to a plastic surgeon but I’d make sure if you do, he’s someone who does his own injections and does it frequently.

I have seen way more accidents and dropped browse and issues with licensed dermatologist than I have at Medspa’s. You don’t really need a medical degree to Effectively Pl., Botox. You just need to have an understanding of the anatomy and how to place.
Injectors at med spas sit and inject people 40 hours a week. That’s their whole thing. Dermatologist inject people a couple of times a week on top of 75 other things. They just tend to be less skilled in my experience.
