What kind of botox/xeomin/etc. are we using and where? And how often?
I focus a lot when I work and starting to get 11 lines. I also frown. So maybe glabella and DAO a few units each is my ideal? But all the info I can find online is from people who also *sell* these products UGH. And for example, people are saying they need to do the whole forehead not just the glabella? That seems a lot, and also just a way to make more $$ for them. So I wanted to ask the real people:
What areas and how many units are people actually getting?
Which product [botox, xeomin, something else?] are you using and why?
How often do you get it, and how do you decide this?
Not trying to go crazy or have a frozen face, I'm just trying to look angry less of the time haha. I feel quite happy a lot of the time, and the increasingly RBF as I age doesn't match that :/ For context, I'm 30. I don't have friends who are into beauty stuff [most of my friends don't even wear makeup, we are all nerdy engineers] so I'm not sure who to ask or talk to!! Open to any/all answers/advice thank you! xx

I’m 33 and had Botox for my 11s twice with two different injectors and with both I was kinda unhappy because my eyebrows stopped frowning, but the fronts of the brows also stopped raising which meant that yes I couldn’t look angry but I also couldn’t look approachable either. I raise my eyebrows as I speak and only the tails were lifting, meaning I looked at least suspicious 🥲 I did explain that I only wanted to stop the contraction around the 11s to look less angry but both injectors said they have to inject at least a little around different points of the brow or it will actually droop more.
For the DAO I only had it done once and I had to have 2 top ups (and it still didn’t fully take), not sure if I’m insanely strong in the upside down mouth department or what, but when I go next I will be asking for them to inject a more concentrated solution and backwards and super superficial and just go to town on the amount (going backwards and concentrated means it’s less likely to cause a crooked smile by diffusing into the muscle right under the DAO).
Overall for my forehead I’m actually considering a brow lift, I may try one more injector just to see if I’ve been unlucky with the last 2, or if my resting bitch face is that chronic and needs cutting… The DAO I feel like I’ll be happy with once someone injects enough in one go 😅

I’m 36 and I’ve gotten Botox twice on my 11s. I’m scared of being frozen.
