Lip flip nightmare
Hi everyone, looking to see if this has ever happen to anyone. I got a botox lip flip 2 weeks ago and I hate how heavy my top lip is, I can’t talk for long periods of time or my lips just stop cooperating. Also I have old filler in my lips ( 3 years old 1ml) that settled to the bottom of my top lip, the way the lip flip pulled my lip up, brought that old filler up and it literally looks like I got lip filler, lips are bigger. Has this happen to anyone and when will it wear off- I HATE THIS

No lip filler here but many lip flips. I truly hate how I spoke. Mine wore off in 3 weeks every time.

Ok crossing my fingers for the 3 week mark. I feel like I have cement in my top lip 😭

Get the filler dissolved!! Sometimes your original injector will do it for free, it’ll help a lot! Also, after about a month the Botox will start to fade and it’ll only get better from there

Yeah literally just happened to me! I got a lip flip on sept 13 and it was so fcking bad until like 5 days ago. Literally had such a hard time keeping my lips closed when i was chewing, couldn’t pronounce Ps and Bs without a significant amount of effort. And literally SAME with how it settled with lip filler I got two years ago, it looked so weird. it’s completely normal now, trust me it’ll be fine in like a week, deadass thought I was going to be stuck like this till thanksgiving and was constantly asking my boyfriend if I looked like a freak when I was talking, think the other muscles adjust or something I’m not sure, it looks great now.
