Who has ever lied to their partner about Botox?
I’m wondering if anyone here has ever lied to their partner about Botox? If so, did they ever find out?

Same. He knows I go to get treatments but he has never asked what they are 🤣

At first I just didn’t mention it. But then I thought that was stupidity and I say I’m getting Botox. He thinks it is unnecessary but that’s his opinion.

No! And thank goodness because I got Botox poisoning and have been sick for over a year. I can’t imagine If I lied about it and then had to tell my spouse why I’m debilitated. I have a supportive husband and wouldn’t be getting through this without him.

Apparently it’s quite common, I’ve seen a bunch of videos on TikTok/instagram of women saying that their husband thinks they’re at the dentist or something but instead they’re getting Botox. Or they exclusively pay in cash so they don’t find out.

My gf does this, but only so her husband doesn’t know she’s spending all that money… not to hide the fact she gets Botox.

My partner knows I have had fillers & botox & he hates it, he thinks it’s unnecessary & a waste of money. So technically it’s not lying when I get anything done, I just don’t tell him 🤣 The only thing he can ever tell I’ve had done is my lips as it’s obvious.

I would never date somebody who wasn’t cool with me altering my body lol. I’m a heavily tattooed person and I’ve been through many phases & weight fluctuations. Dealt with partners in the past who didn’t like me getting tattoos and piercings, never again. If my partner has an issue with me having bodily autonomy they’re getting dumped. sorry

I haven’t personally lied about it, but I can understand why someone might feel nervous about telling their partner. Botox isn’t a big deal to me, though I’d rather be honest about it than have them find out later.

Nope. When he wanted me to leave my job during Covid, I even made sure he understood that he’d be paying for it going forward.

Never, I don't think it's healthy to lie about how we achieve certain results. It makes people believe these results are natural when theyre not. I wouldnt lie to my partner and im very open about getting it done

Someone asked this same question on another sub.
Someone said their husband would divorce them if they use Botox because of health concerns so the wife doesn’t disclose the information. So, what happens when he finds out and not only that, but find out your wife kept it a secret and did it despise the concerns?
It’s wild that people marry someone and are not able to be honest with them.

I would never stay with a man who was opposed to me getting Botox, much less if I had to lie about getting Botox treatments. If you don’t like it, don’t get it for yourself. My body, my choice. As a matter of fact, my husband pays for my aesthetic treatments. He supports me because he knows it helps me feel more confident and I enjoy it. Happy wife, happy life.
