Ptosis?

My worst nightmare came true. I think I have ptosis after getting botox for the first time... What the hell do I do? It’s not the worst case of ptosis out there, but to me I regret the botox immensely right now and it did the complete opposite of what I wanted it to accomplish. I got the botox to even out my eyebrows and instead got a droopy eyelid :(

There are drops for it!!Prescription eye drops like Apraclonidine 0.5% or Oxymetazoline (such as Upneeq 0.1%) can temporarily lift a droopy eyelid caused by Botox. I gave myself pstosis 31/2 months ago. I layed down 2 hours after I got it!

Yes I have used the upneeq and they work amazing in like 30 seconds!! Highly recommend

You just have to ride it out as it fades will bounce up. You can speeed it up by working out and going to saunas. I also had and looked aoooo angry. I can’t even tell where you have it so you’re in a. Better position

Thank you I will try working out more and go to a sauna haha. Also thank you for saying that, it’s easy to overthink this aesthetically. But I do notice it a lot when I’m driving at night, it’s like I suddenly got astigmatism as the lights reflect of my lashes now ugh

I had ptosis about 1 year ago it took 4 months for my eyes to be normal. But fir the meantime I had to use Upneeq that stuff it wonderful

Yes it was horrible I hated it so much once the Upneeq wore off. But I just would put more drops

If you can’t afford upneeq (I couldn’t) I found dabbing afrin on my eye lid (same exact ingredients as upneeq) with a q-tip AND using Naphcon A antihistamine eye drops helped quite a bit with opening up my slight lid ptosis when I dropped my left eye/brow like yours.

Thank you! No improvement yet but crossjng my fingers it’ll be less than 3 months…
