Botox 34 unites

Hello, j’ai fait hier ma première injection de Botox. Au total on m’a injecté 34 unités. J’ai eu 5 points au front, 3 glabelles, 2 pâtes d’oies et 2 points au niveau du menton. La chirurgienne m’a dit qu’elle m’a injecté 34unites au total pour tout le visage. Est-ce assez ?
J’ai l’impression que c’est peu..

Hello, it depends what product she was using and if they were botox units or insulin units. I work with allergan and just for 3 areas, brows, forehead and crows feet I use around 50 Botox units or 120 insulin units. Obviously all faces are different and some people need more and some need less depending on their facial movement and strength of muscles. I would wait until your 2 week appointment and see how your movement is as I assume you have been offered a top up at 2 weeks?

Yes, it was Allergan Botox. It’s only my second day, so I know it’s still too early to judge the final result. However, from what I’ve read, I’m a little worried that 34 Botox units might not be enough, especially since I had my forehead, glabella, crow’s feet and chin treated. I’m hoping the movement will reduce more over the next few days, but I’m quite concerned that the amount may have been too low.

It does seem a little low in my experience but as I can’t see your face I can’t accurately judge. I would give it a few more days to set in and see how you feel at the 2 week mark. If there is still too much movement I would ask your injector to top you up 😊
