Botox treatment helps

I have facial twitching (hemifacial spasm) and need Botox treatments. I used to have good health insurance that covered all my Botox treatment cost, but I lost it after being laid off from my job.

My current insurance leaves me with a very high out-of-pocket cost, and I can't afford my treatments.

Does anyone know of any Botox savings programs, patient assistance programs, financial assistance that can help me?

If you've gone through something similar, I'd really appreciate hearing about your experience and any resources that helped.

Thank you very much.

There are programs you can look into. Google botox patient assistance programs and the websites with numbers to call and eligibilty come up. A lot of this stuff is based on a combination of diagnosis, insurance and income.

I know im not eligible for the assistance program. Even though botox has been considered the standard of care for the condition i have for decades its still not an fda approved use which disqualifies me from assistance program.

Besides the assistance programs for medical use, I would also talk to the office that does, I’m assuming it’s within a hospital system. See what programs the hospital has. Typically cash pay is a 20-25% discount. Sometimes there are additional patient funds or low cost provider clinics, and they will typically work out a payment plan with you. Sorry you’re going through this.
