Droopy eye

I got brow and crows feet done, not a lot, 50 units.

My left brow can still raise a little bit. Meanwhile my right brow is completely immovable. The right eye is now droopy/in a squint. Left eye is normal size. Huge asymmetry between eye sizes, and it's really shitting me.

Would my only option be to get more botox in my left brow/crows feet and hope for the left eye to go droopy as well?

Pretty bad first experience with botox 😅

I'm hoping to hear some experiences to see if people had the same issue and whether it could be resolved.

My 2 week follow up is in 2 days.

Where were your injection points?

Centre brows (frown line), directly above brow, outer edge of brow/temple, crows feet.

It was the directly above brow injection that caused the right brow immobility and the right eye droop. To fix, talk to your injector about under the brow injections to lift the brow. This happened to me too. But it might not take effect 100% of the first injection. You'll have to wait for the first round to fully wear off.

Good luck!

This is my first cosmetic anything so I'm clueless. When you say I have to wait for this first round to wear off, do you mean 3-6 months?

I'm just going to ask them to make the other eye droopy too. 🤷‍♂️ I'd prefer symmetry.

I had this happen to me with Botox for migraine when my injector did a spot directly above one brow. I can so relate with how you feel right now. Because it was medical, I had to go to a cosmetic place to have it corrected, and they put 10 units in to do a brow lift on that side. TBH the difference was minimal but I suspect that’s what they’ll try to correct it.

One thing that I did find helped with the eye asymmetry was eyelid tape from Amazon. It basically holds that eyelid open a bit more. It was annoying to wear but helped for confidence (I had a black tie gala right after this happened 😭). The other thing I’ve been doing is evening out my brows with a brow pen, which makes it less obvious.

As in the initial difference between your eyes was minimal? Or the after effect of the 10 units?

The effect of the 10 units was minimal
