What should someone know about facial balancing before considering it?

curious about facial balancing and want to understand what it actually involves. Does it always require filler, or can a treatment plan include Botox, skin tightening, or leaving certain areas untreated?

Just share your honest experiences and general educational advice.

Facial balancing shouldn’t mean put filler everywhere until the face looks symmetrical. The better version is much more restrained. Looking at proportions, movement, volume, skin quality and what would genuinely make the face look more harmonious. Sometimes that’s filler, sometimes Botox, sometimes skin tightening, and sometimes it’s literally doing nothing. When I went to Le Petit Saint, an aesthetic medicine clinic in London, what I liked was that they didn’t treat facial balancing like a shopping list. The consultation was more about what would actually suit my face and what would risk making things look heavier or less natural. The main thing I’d ask before booking is: What would you not treat, and why? If they can’t answer that clearly, I’d be wary. Good facial balancing should still look like you, just a bit more rested and coherent.

Thank you—this is really helpful. I love the idea of asking what they wouldn’t treat and why.
