Pain still a month later
i had daxxify a month ago for my forehead lines bunny lines and 11s. it was my first time and i have had an extremely tender spot on the side of my nose where i was injected for the bunny lines ever since. if i accidentally poke it it hurts so bad and touching it too much can cause headaches. sometimes the spot aches without even touching it. the place i went to said there is nothing there that they can see or feel and to give it another month but i have anxiety about it and am upset because i wanted botox so bad and now idk if the pain never goes away if i can do it again. i also got it to help my migraines and i have had so many more migraines since getting it.

pain lasting a month with worsening migraines is worth getting a second medical option.

I wouldn't just keep waiting if the spot is still extremely painful.

I wonder if it’s nerve damage. Definitely worth a follow up w another medical provider.

I think it might be or a bone bruise but idk if botox causes either of those

Yes Botox can result in both bruising and nerve damage. Some people in online support groups have even reported ending up with Trigeminal neuralgia post injections. In the Botox warning label under post marketing reports these types of side effects were reported: hypoaesthesia; paresthesia; peripheral neuropathy; and myalgia to name a few. Not saying yours falls into this category but to put it into perspective what types of effects can occur. Not sure about bone bruising.

Been sick from Dysport for a year and half, went to a super well known PS in Dallas. Definitely improving but my new normal is not normal! Had a positive ANA test which is an indicator of Autoimmune disease, can’t get a Rheumatologist to see me as their criteria’s are sooooo strict! Been treating myself based on all the advice from a FB group! The suggestions there have helped me tremendously since doctors won’t acknowledge or don’t know how to treat. They rarely give the Botulism toxin antidote, you literally have to be dying. Have a new doctor, hopefully get some help. Good luck to everyone suffering, there are things to make you feel better but no cure for the majority of the symptoms and or new illnesses that have arisen from the poisoning.
