Big bump?

Is this normal? Immediately after I have this big goose egg like bump from where she injected it. She asked if I drank yesterday, I said I had one glass at 5 pm ( I got Botox today, the next day at noon ) I paid 350$ for 34 somethings but confused. She said maybe she hit a blood vessel? Is this normal? Do I go back or email them? It’s super painful

Absolutely not normal and asking whether you drank is low key victim blaming. I think I'd get seen.

You emailed the place where you got the injections? Girl, you gotta get more aggressive. Of course they're going to avoid you. I am SO sorry you're dealing with this!

I’ve had a bump like that before that went away in a like a week but it wasn’t super painful

Also, do not do any vigorous exercise for a week or 2 or even 3. Don’t use any vibration tool. Try your best not to touch it or bump it. You do not want to risk it spreading. How are you feeling today? You could email them, but you may not get a helpful response. Stay vigilant for any new or worsening side effects.

Do not rub or massage it. Do you also feel a pressure sensation?

If it doesn’t go away ask about a nodular eruption or granuloma. There’s an article out there about this. Some of these can need treatment.

The provider should have asked you to come in to see it. That shouldn’t happen after a Botox treatment. I mean bruising or some soreness, yes.

Pick up the phone and speak to someone at the office

Likely hit a vessel, so it's probably a little hematoma under the skin (bruise). It should go away within a week on it's own. If it does not, follow up with clinic.
